The breast pump works by creating a vacuum negative pressure to simulate the sucking process of a baby. Its core mechanism involves the linkage between periodic changes in air pressure and mechanical structure:
Power Source Drive: The electric breast pump is equipped with a miniature DC motor that drives the eccentric mechanism or
piston/membrane assembly to generate reciprocating motion at a frequency of 25 times per second.
Negative Pressure Generation: When the piston or membrane moves upward, the volume of the cavity inside the suction cup increases, creating a local low-pressure environment, which causes the nipple and areola to be adsorbed and encapsulated; at this time, the mammary ducts are stimulated by negative pressure to expand, and milk begins to flow.
Pressure Release and Cycle: When the piston/membrane returns to its original position, the pressure in the cavity is restored, and the milk is pushed into the milk storage bottle, completing a single suction action; the system achieves continuous milk extraction by repeatedly performing this process at a high frequency.
